The Provincial Fencing Championships for New Brunswick is not restricted to New Brunswick fencers.  It is open to any competitive fencers with a current FENB competitive membership or equivalent from another province or country.

The Provincial Championships are hosted in a different region of NB each year on rotating schedule as follows:

2009 - Capital (Fredericton) region

2010 - Restigouche / Chaleur region

2011 - South-east (Moncton) region

2012 - Fundy region 

Host region responsibilities:

a. Establish local organizing Committee

b. Book facility to accommodate seven regulation pistes

c. Recruit volunteers for facility set up/take down, canteen service, scorers & timekeepers

d. Select awards

FENB responsibilities

a. Recruit referees

b. Recruit secretariat 

c. Provide tournament equipment

d. Financial management
